Managing your online orders can be difficult and to solve that, the Delivery Boy app helps you easily assign your orders to your delivery executives and forget about the rest. But to assign these orders to your delivery executives, first you need to setup the Delivery Boy app. Let's see how you can do it :
Open Zyadashop app and head on to the account section
In the account section click on Premium Features and find the delivery boy section inside it
After opening it, you will find the option of Add new at the bottom, click on to proceed
A pop-up appears when you click on Add new, fill the name and mobile number of the executive and click on the add button
After the executive is added a link will be generated which you need to share with him
Once you have shared the link with your executive for whom you created the profile, then the rest of the setup is required to be done by him by clicking on that link
Clicking on that will redirect your delivery executive to the Delivery Boy app available on Playstore
He needs to install the app and open it
Once he does this the app will automatically detect the phone number of the delivery executive as he installed the app using the link which you sent him
Clicking on the Verify Number button, the OTP will be sent to the same number and he needs to enter the OTP to complete the setup
Once he has done the setup now you will able to assign him orders from the order details section
But before that he needs to switch on Available for orders switch from inside the account section of the delivery boy app, if already not switched on.
Now to assign him orders, head on to the orders section and select the order which you want to assign to him
After opening the order details section, scroll down where you will find the manage delivery options, click on it to proceed further
Now there will be a option of Delivery Team, clicking on it will show you the list of available delivery executives
Choose the executive you want to assign the order and you are done. Now the delivery boy will be notified about the order and can see all the details of the order inside the Delivery Boy app
He can also update the order from inside the Delivery Boy app to MARK AS DELIVERED
Now you know how to setup the Delivery Boy app, but there are certain things which you should keep in your mind, that will help you properly set it up without any ambiguity, let's see what are those :
The Delivery Boy is a premium feature and you need to have a premium pack to access it
After buying premium many users try to directly install the Delivery Boy app and set it up, but the Delivery Boy app doesn't have a field to input the phone number manually, it automatically fetches the number when the app is installed or opened using the link
And the number it fetches is the number that has been setup for the delivery executive, so while setting up the delivery executive ensure that you have entered correct details. Incase you have put wrong details, no need to worry you can delete that executive profile and create a new one
The delivery executive will not show in the list of Delivery Team while assigning the orders if he has switched off the Available for orders button. You can also switch it on from inside the Delivery Boy section where you setup them at the first place
