Businesses are always seeking for ways to scale their presence, and the Reselling Plugin of Zyadashop app helps them create a reseller portal where resellers can signup for this program by providing basic details. This will help both the businesses and the resellers to earn and grow. The resellers will get commission based on the sales they make and the commission set by the respective businesses. They need to share the link created upon joining the business as an authorized reseller. So let's see how to setup the Reseller Plugin and get started with it :
Open Zyadashop app and head on to Manage section
In Manage section go to the Plugins and scroll down to the bottom
Click Install for the Resellers Panel Plugin
After entering into the Resellers Panel, there will be the option to Enable Reseller Plugin
Merchants can therefore enable and disable the reseller plugin using this switch
To configure the reseller applications, click on the 3rd option i.e. Reseller configs & pending applications
Then we have to click on Manage required data for reseller application
There will be 2 tabs, one Basic and the other Terms & More
In the basic tab we have the option to add extra fields like email, date picker, text fields, etc. which you can add according to your requirement
In Terms & More tab, we can set the commission percent, maximum commission on each product, Intro message and terms & conditions
The commission percent you set for your resellers will not be charged from the customers, it will be charged on the total amount of the product's selling price (Excluding Gst charges, delivery charges & any other extra charges)
After setting up all the fields according to requirement, click on the update button to save the changes
Now to signup for the reseller program, one needs to visit the Account section of your website
The reseller needs to login to your website and then head on to the Reseller tab in the Account section
The Reseller application will be available inside it
Clicking on it the Application form will be displayed, where the reseller needs to fill in the details
The details include, personal details like name, mobile no and address. The reseller also needs to add the bank details and fill the extra fields if the field is mandatory
After filling all the details, the reseller needs to submit the application and wait until the business owners reviews and approves the application
To check pending applications, go to Manage > Plugins > Resellers Panel > Reseller configs & pending applications
The pending applications will appear inside it, and clicking on view application will display the details of the reseller
After reviewing the business owner can approve or decline the application, to get better idea business owners can call the reseller on the phone number provided by them to get clarity
Once the application is approved, business owners can go to View and manage reseller accounts tab to check their reseller's account
In the account section, all details of the reseller are listed along with pending commission if any & the transactions made by the reseller
The unique link for the reseller is also displayed in the account section, the reseller needs to use this link to resell the products, otherwise no commission will be detected
The reseller can also check his profile by going to the reseller tab in the account section
Inside the profile section all such details like commission, unique link to share with customers and bank details are displayed
The transactions are also listed at the end of the page, and you can click on the transaction to check the commission breakdown
New features to the Reseller Panel will be added in the future updates.
Important : The link is unique for every reseller and the reseller need to share the same unique link for commission to be detected.
Resellers will not get commission for pickup orders.
